Support Service of the Velocity Interoperability Network Established

The Support Service of the Velocity Interoperability Network has been formally established. The Service is the first point of contact for the staff of member organisations and for users of the shared services of the Network. It answers questions about access, connectivity and the interpretation of published guidance where it can, and refers every other matter to the department or office responsible.

With its establishment complete, the Service today launches its official website at support.gov.vin. The site carries a request form under four categories, answers to the questions most often put to the Service, a description of the procedure every request follows, and the service standards the Service works to. Requests may also be made by email to contact@support.gov.vin.

Requests received under interim arrangements during the four weeks before establishment have been transferred to the Service's register and are being answered in the order in which they were received. The holders of those requests have been sent a new reference number. Further announcements will be published in the Newsroom as the Service's arrangements are completed.
